The Juaboso District Assembly has taken delivery of four hundred (400) waste bins from the Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development (MLGRD) to help improve waste management in the area.

The group numbering hundreds accused government for failing to implement policies that will see standards of living improved.

The Minister of Gender, Children and Social Protection, Nana Oye Lithur has disclosed government’s intention to increase beneficiaries of the Livelihood Empowerment against Poverty (LEAP) programme from 90,000 to 150,000.

She said this is to ensure improve governments fight against poverty in the country.
